A Communist Pope – But are the Poor Rejoicing?

“Stupidity is also a gift from God, but one mustn’t misuse it”
Pope John Paul II

A communist Pope,
An anti-capitalist priest,
Enshrined in the Vatican
Where the cardinals feast
On the wealth they‘ve created,
A law unto themselves,
A list of the wrongs being committed
Would fill many library shelves.

Will Scribe Pope 02With untold wealth never shared,
From the poor still collected;
With power, with avarice,
And debauchery still infected.
A Papal Encyclical,
But do you hear angels sing,
As he dispenses his propaganda
With its loud Marxist ring?

There’s a whiff of hypocrisy
That I can smell in the air,
The Church’s vast wealth
With the poor why not share?
But his politics will make certain
That he closes that door,
As he works with the UN
To keep poor countries poor.

When he speaks the world listens,
On his proclamations they reflect,
Now being used by politicians
Makes his church more suspect.
Serving God or the UN?
Seems like he’s made his choice,
Denying the poor cheaper energy,
I’m sure they’ll rejoice.

Left in the wings,
As the UN puppet masters
Pull the Pope’s strings….”
